Catfish and the Bottlemen is a British indie rock band formed in 2007 in Llandudno, Wales. Their debut album, The Balcony, reached number ten on the UK Albums Chart and was certified platinum on December 30, 2016. The band has toured extensively across South America, Japan, the UK, Europe, and North America, performing at major festivals such as Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Reading and Leeds. They headlined Trnsmt Festival in Glasgow on July 13, 2019. Their second album, The Ride, released on May 27, 2016, topped the UK Albums Chart. Catfish and the Bottlemen have significantly contributed to the indie rock genre with their energetic performances and chart-topping records.
