Cassadee Pope is an American singer and songwriter born in 1989. Originally from the United States, she gained recognition as the lead vocalist of the pop-punk band Hey Monday. With the band, she released one full-length album, "Hold on Tight", and three EPs. After Hey Monday announced a hiatus in December 2011, she embarked on a solo career. In early 2012, she completed her first solo tour. Cassadee Pope made history as the first female winner of the TV show The Voice. Her transition to a solo career has contributed significantly to the country and pop genres.
