Carmody is an Aboriginal Australian singer, songwriter, and musician of the Murree people, born in 1946 in northern Queensland. He is best known for his song "From Little Things Big Things Grow" recorded with Полом Келли in 1993. This song was covered by the Get Up Mob in 2008 and reached number four on the Australian Recording Industry Association Singles Chart.
