Before her music career, she worked as an entertainment reporter for Playboy and appeared in TV shows like "Rules of Engagement." Taking a break from entertainment, she earned a degree in mortuary science from Cypress College and worked as an embalmer and funeral director. Later, she co-founded Butcher Babies, fulfilling her dream of becoming a touring musician. Carla Harvey has contributed to the metal genre with her unique blend of powerful vocals and theatrical performances.
