Cajmere (real name Curtis Alan Jones) is an American musician born on April 26, 1967. He is known for his work in the house and dance music genres. Cajmere became a key figure in the development of house music, particularly with his hit "Coffee Pot (It's Time for the Percolator)" which became a cult track on dance floors worldwide. In addition to his solo career, he is also known for his alter ego Green Velvet , under which he releases more experimental tracks. His contributions to house music have made him one of the genre's most influential producers.
