Cadacross was a Finnish folk metal band founded in 1997. Initially playing aggressive death metal, the band began experimenting with melodic power and folk metal after releasing the demos "Power of the Night" and "Bloody Way" The band consisted of vocalist Georg Laakso , guitarist Tommi Saari , keyboardist Mathias Nygård , bassist Jarkko Lemmetty , and drummer Janne Salo . Their debut album "So Pale Is the Light" was a milestone in their career. The band disbanded in 2006, leaving a mark on the development of folk metal.
