Butcher Babies is an American metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2010. The band was formed by Chris Varner, Jason Klein, and Henry Flury, who were joined by vocalists Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, formerly of Switchblade Kitty cover band. Their debut album, Goliath , was released on July 9, 2013, via Century Media Records . It sold 3,300 copies in its first week and debuted at number one on Billboard Heatseeker chart. The band has released two EPs and four studio albums. Butcher Babies have made significant contributions to the development of the modern metal genre.
