Bruno Martino was an Italian jazz composer, singer, and pianist born in 1925. He rose to fame with his song "Estate" written in 1960, which was later covered by many famous jazz musicians, such as Жуан Жилберту , Чет Бейкер , and Мишель Петруччиани . Early in his career Bruno Martino performed on European radio stations and collaborated with various orchestras. Later, he began writing music for popular Italian artists and toured with his orchestra. His contributions to jazz and pop music made his name known far beyond Italy.
