Brian Reitzell is an American musician, composer, music producer, and supervisor, born December 24, 1965. He is best known for his work on film and television soundtracks, including collaborations with director Софией Копполой . He was previously the drummer for the punk band Redd Kross . Reitzell also collaborated with the French duo Air , playing drums on albums by The Virgin Suicides and 10 000 Hz Legend , and toured with them. In 2003, he was nominated for a BAFTA Award for his score to the film Lost in Translation. His contributions to the development of soundtracks have made him a key figure in the genre.
