Bratmobile was an American punk rock band formed in Olympia, Washington, in 1991. Known as pioneers of the riot grrrl movement, the group combined feminist themes with raw, energetic music. Their debut album, "Pottymouth", released in 1993, became a defining work of the genre. Other notable releases include the EP "The Real Janelle" and the album "Ladies, Women and Girls". The band disbanded in 1994 but reunited briefly in the late 1990s. Bratmobile left a lasting impact on punk rock, inspiring a generation of musicians with their DIY ethos and unapologetic approach to feminist issues.
