Brand New was an American rock band formed in 2000 in Long Island, New York. The group consisted of Jesse Lacey, Vincent Accardi, Garrett Tierney, and Brian Lane, with Benjamin Homola later joining for live performances. From 2005 to 2013, Derrick Sherman was also part of the lineup. Known for their influence on the emo scene of the 2000s, the band released critically acclaimed albums such as "Deja Entendu" and "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me". Their music blended alternative rock, punk, and emotional lyricism, leaving a lasting impact on the genre before disbanding in 2018.
