Bobby Shmurda, born Ackquille Jean Pollard on August 4, 1994, is an American rapper and songwriter from Brooklyn, USA. Known for his contributions to the Brooklyn drill scene alongside Rowdy Rebel, he gained international fame in 2014 with the hit single "Hot Nigga", which peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. This success led to a record deal with Epic Records. Later that year, he released his debut EP, "Shmurda She Wrote".
