Bobby Caldwell (1951–2023) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. His work spanned the genres of R&B, soul, jazz, and adult contemporary. He is best known for his hit "What You Won't Do for Love" from his debut album "Bobby Caldwell" , released in 1978 and certified double platinum. In addition to his solo career, he wrote songs for other artists, including Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit "The Next Time I Fall" performed by Эми Грант and Питером Сетера . His contribution to the popularization of jazz and soul remains significant.
