Black Mountain is a Canadian rock band formed in 2004 in Vancouver. The band works in the stoner rock and alternative rock genres, combining heavy guitar riffs with psychedelic elements. Black Mountain has released several albums, including "In the Future" which received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize . Their track "Stormy High" has become one of the band's most recognizable tracks. The band has made a significant contribution to the development of modern stoner rock, remaining one of the genre's key figures.
