Black Marble is an American musical project formed in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York. Originally composed of musicians Chris Stewart and Ty Kube , the group works in the electronic, alternative, and indie genres, combining minimalist synthesizer melodies with melancholic vocals. Their debut album "A Different Arrangement" was released in 2012 and received acclaim in the indie community. The project later went solo, and Chris Stewart continued releasing music, including the albums "It's Immaterial" and "Bigger Than Life" Black Marble has made a significant contribution to the development of modern minimal synthesizer music.
