Black Box was an Italian house band formed in 1988. The group consisted of DJ Даниэль Даволи , clarinetist Валерио Семпличи , and keyboardist Мирко Лимони . The band gained worldwide fame thanks to their debut album, Dreamland , which featured Марта Уош on vocals, although she was replaced by model Катрин Киноль on the album covers and in the music videos. Their biggest hit, "Ride on Time" became one of the best-selling singles in the UK. After copyright litigation, the band's popularity declined. Black Box made a significant contribution to the development of house music in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
