Black , born Colin Vearncombe, was a British musician born on May 26, 1962, in Robie, near Liverpool. His work spanned pop rock, new wave, indie, and folk. Originally the name of a band, Black eventually became Vearncombe's pseudonym. He is best known for his hit "Wonderful Life" which became an international success.
