Bill Rieflin (William Frederick Rieflin) was an American musician born on September 30, 1960. He rose to prominence as a drummer in the industrial rock and experimental metal genres, collaborating with bands such as Ministry , Revolting Cocks , Lard , KMFDM , and Swans . From 2003 to 2011, he was a full-time member REM , replacing Bill Berry. From 2013 to 2019, Rieflin played for the legendary band King Crimson . His contributions to the development of industrial rock and experimental music have left a significant mark on the genre.
