Beniamino Gigli (also known as Бениамино Джильи and Беньямино Джильи ) is an Italian opera singer, born on March 20, 1890, in Italy. He is considered one of the greatest tenors of the 20th century and the heir to Энрико Карузо . His career spanned both the operatic stage and cinema, where he performed numerous roles. Among his most famous roles are performances in the operas "Тоска" , "Риголетто" , and "Богема" . Gigli recorded numerous albums, which remain popular among classical music lovers.
