Being As An Ocean is an American melodic hardcore band formed in 2011. Originating from the United States, the group gained recognition with their debut full-length album, "Dear G-d…", recorded in San Diego, California, and released in 2012. The album reached number 27 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. Initially signed to Equal Vision, the band later bought out their contract and now operates independently. Known for their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic sound, Being As An Ocean has made a significant impact on the hardcore genre.
