Басим (full name: Анис Басим Мужахид ) is a Danish singer of Moroccan descent, born on July 4, 1992. He works in the pop and rap/hip-hop genres. He gained fame thanks to his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, where he represented Denmark with the song "Cliche Love Song" The song placed ninth in the final and became popular across Europe. Басим has also released several albums and singles, which have cemented his position in the Danish music scene. His work has contributed to the development of pop music in Denmark, combining Western and Eastern musical influences.
