Barathrum is a Finnish black metal band formed in 1990 in Kuopio. Performing songs in English, they are considered one of Finland's pioneering black metal bands, alongside artists such as Archgoat , Beherit , and Impaled Nazarene . Over the course of their career, Barathrum has released several albums, including "Hailstorm" and "Venomous" which have gained recognition in the underground metal scene. The band has made a significant contribution to the development of Finnish black metal, becoming one of its founding figures.
