Bad Balance is a Soviet and Russian rap group from Leningrad, founded in 1989 by Vlad " ШЕFF " Valov and Gleb " LA " Matveyev. Initially, the group focused on breakdancing, but with the addition of Sergey " Михея " Krutikov in 1990, it became a hip-hop musical project. Their debut song, " Донецкий край ," became the group's signature song. Bad Balance is considered one of the first rap groups in the USSR, laying the foundations for Russian rap. Their work has had a significant influence on the development of the genre in Russia.
