Azam Ali is a singer of Iranian descent, born in 1970. She grew up in India, where she absorbed the local culture and music, and has lived in the United States since 1985. She currently works in Montreal. Azam Ali is known as the vocalist of the Vas and Niyaz projects, as well as for her solo work. Her music combines elements of electronica with traditional Eastern motifs. She has also participated in a number of other musical projects, highlighting her contribution to the development of the genre. Azam Ali continues to inspire listeners with her unique style and interpretation of traditional music.
