Avishai Cohen (also known as Авишай Коэн or Авишай Кохен ) is an Israeli jazz double bassist, composer, singer, and arranger, born April 20, 1970. His career began working with renowned musicians such as Chick Corea , and he later founded his own trio. Avishai Cohen has released numerous albums, including "Gently Disturbed" and "Continuo" which have received critical acclaim. His music combines jazz with elements of Middle Eastern and Jewish traditional music. Avishai Cohen has made a significant contribution to contemporary jazz, expanding its boundaries and bringing a unique sound.
