Aura Dione (real name Maria Louise Joensen ) is a Danish singer of Faroese, Spanish, and French descent, born in 1985. Her musical style combines elements of pop, house, and dance music. In 2008, Aura Dione released her debut album, "Columbine" which sold 100,000 copies worldwide. Among her well-known tracks is "I Will Love You Monday (365)" which became a hit in Europe. Aura Dione has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Danish pop music on the international stage.
