
Arthur Lee (full name: Артур Тейлор Ли ) was an American musician, vocalist, and songwriter born in 1945 in the United States. He rose to prominence as the leader of the Los Angeles psychedelic band Love , which made significant contributions to the development of rock, indie, and soul genres. Arthur Lee was nicknamed "the first black hippie" for his unique style and influence on 1960s music culture. Among his most famous works is the album "Forever Changes" considered a classic of psychedelic rock. His work continues to inspire musicians and fans worldwide. Arthur Lee died in 2006 from leukemia.
