
Arif Mardin (1932–2006) was a Turkish-American music producer who worked in the genres of jazz, rock, soul, disco, and country. During his more than 30 years at Atlantic Records , he held the positions of assistant, producer, arranger, and vice president. He later became vice president and general manager Manhattan Records at EMI . His collaborations included Queen , The Bee Gees , Aretha Franklin , Norah Jones , and many others. Mardin won 11 Грэмми Awards, leaving a significant mark on the music industry.
