Area21 is a Dutch electronic duo formed in 2016. It consists of Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and American musician Maejor . The duo gained widespread recognition after Martin Garrix premiered their singles " Spaceships " and " We Did It " at Ultra Music Festival in 2016. Area21 are signed to the label STMPD RCRDS . Their work is described as " Мартина Гаррикса new side project." The duo has contributed to the development of dance music by combining electronic beats with vocal elements.
