Арам Асатрян (1953–2006) was an Armenian singer and songwriter, known as one of the leading performers of the rabiz genre. Born in the Soviet Union, he began his musical career in Armenia, where he quickly gained popularity for his heartfelt lyrics and melodies reflecting Armenian culture and traditions. Арам Асатрян released numerous albums and hits, including songs such as "Мер Сирт" and "Ашхарумс" which have become classics of the genre. His work had a significant influence on the development of the Armenian music scene, making him a cult figure in the rabiz genre.
