Antimatter is a British rock band founded in 1998 by former Anathema bassist Duncan Patterson and his friend Mick Moss. After the release of their third album in 2005, Patterson left the band, leaving Moss as the sole constant member. Antimatter music combines elements of progressive rock, ambient, and trip hop, reminiscent of Anathema later work. The album "Leaving Eden" featured Anathema guitarist Daniel Cavanagh. The band is known for its experimental approach and contribution to the development of alternative rock.
