Annihilator is a thrash metal band from Ottawa, Canada, formed in 1984. Led by guitarist and founding member Jeff Waters , the band gained recognition for its technical riffs and energetic performances. Their debut album "Alice in Hell" (1989), has been recognized as a key release in the thrash metal genre. Other notable albums include "Never, Neverland" (1990) and "Set the World on Fire" (1993). Annihilator made a significant contribution to the development of thrash metal, remaining one of the genre's most enduring and influential bands.
