
Amy Sky is a Canadian pop singer, songwriter, music producer, theatrical actress, and television host, born in 1960. She began studying classical music at the age of five and is proficient in piano, guitar, cello, and recorder. A graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in music theory and composition, Sky signed as a staff songwriter with MCA Music in Nashville in 1983, later working with Warner-Chappell Music and EMI Music. She has written songs for artists such as Diana Ross, Olivia Newton-John, and Cyndi Lauper. Her contributions have enriched the pop genre through her multifaceted talents.
