
American Hi-Fi is an American pop-punk band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1998. The group consists of vocalist Stacy Jones, guitarist Jamie Arentzen, bassist Drew Parsons, and drummer Brian Nolan. Before founding the band, Stacy Jones was known as the drummer for alternative rock bands Veruca Salt and Letters to Cleo. Their music blends pop-punk, alternative rock, and power pop. American Hi-Fi is best known for their hit single "Flavor of the Weak," which gained significant airplay in the early 2000s. The band has contributed to the evolution of pop-punk with their catchy melodies and energetic performances.
