[AMATORY] is a Russian metal band from St. Petersburg, founded in 1998 by Daniil " Stewart " Svetlov and Denis " Denver " Zhivotovsky. That fall, Evgeny " PJ " Potekhin joined, and in 2001, Sergey " Gang " Osechkin completed the lineup, marking the beginning of the "classic" quartet. The band is known for its nu metal albums, including "Книга мёртвых" and "VII" [AMATORY] has made a significant contribution to the development of Russian heavy music, becoming one of the most influential bands of its genre.
