Alvin Stardust, born Bernard William Jewry in 1942 in the United Kingdom, was a British pop and rock musician. Initially gaining fame in the early 1960s under the stage name Shane Fenton with hits like "I’m a Moody Guy" and "Cindy’s Birthday", he re-emerged in the 1970s glam rock era as Alvin Stardust. His biggest successes include the singles "My Coo-Ca-Choo" and "Jealous Mind", both of which charted in the UK Singles Chart. Over his career, 14 of his singles entered the UK charts. Alvin Stardust left a lasting mark on the glam rock genre with his distinctive style and memorable hits.
