Алсу (full name: Alsou Ralifovna Abramova) is a Russian singer, television presenter, and actress, born June 27, 1983. She performs Russian pop music and is known as an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, and People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2000, Алсу represented Russia at the Евровидение Contest, where she took second place with the song "Solo" Over the course of her career, she has released numerous hits and received recognition as a UNESCO Artist for Peace.
