
Alex Hill was an American jazz pianist born in 1906. He established himself as a child prodigy, learning piano from his mother. While attending Shorter College Alex Hill met Альфонсом Трентом and began arranging music for his orchestra. His contributions to jazz included collaborations with various ensembles and the creation of arrangements that influenced the genre's development. Despite his short life, ending in 1937, Alex Hill left a significant mark on jazz history.
