Aleah (born July 1, 1976, in South Africa—died April 18, 2016, in Örebro, Sweden) was a singer-songwriter who worked in the gothic metal and doom metal genres. In 2009, she co-founded the band Trees of Eternity with Finnish guitarist Юха Райвио . Aleah also collaborated with renowned metal bands such as Swallow the Sun and Amorphis , earning her recognition in the rock and metal communities. Her contributions to the gothic and doom metal genres remain significant due to her unique vocals and lyrics.
