Airto Moreira , full name Airto Guimorvan Moreira , is a Brazilian jazz drummer born in 1941. He is known for his contributions to the development of jazz music, as well as his collaborations with legendary musicians such as Miles Davis and Chick Corea . Airto Moreira became a pioneer of the fusion genre, combining traditional Brazilian rhythms with elements of jazz. His work includes contributions to the albums "Bitches Brew" and "Return to Forever" The musician has had a significant influence on the popularization of Brazilian music internationally.
