AIKO (real name Aiko Yanai ) is a Japanese singer and songwriter, born November 22, 1975. She works in the pop and rap/hip-hop genres. AIKO gained popularity thanks to her hits such as "Ashita" , "Kabutomushi" , "Hanabi" , "Sakura no Toki" , "Boyfriend" , and "Kira Kira" . Her work has received recognition both in Japan and abroad.
