
A Flock Of Seagulls is an English new wave and synth-pop band formed in Liverpool in 1979 by brothers Michael "Mike" Score and Alister "Ali" James Score, along with Francis Lee "Frank" Maudsley and Paul Reynolds. Known for their distinctive sound and iconic hairstyles, the band gained international fame with hits like "I Ran (So Far Away)" and "Space Age Love Song". Their self-titled debut album was a commercial success and earned them a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. A Flock Of Seagulls remains a defining act of the 1980s synth-pop movement.
