Государственный симфонический оркестр кинематографии СССР was a Soviet symphony orchestra founded in November 1924. The orchestra specialized in film scores and was renowned as one of the leading soundtrack ensembles. Until 1991, it operated under the auspices of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
