4 Non Blondes was an American rock band formed in 1989 in San Francisco, California. The group was founded by bassist Christa Hillhouse, guitarist Shaunna Hall, drummer Wanda Day, and vocalist Linda Perry. Before the release of their debut album, Roger Rocha replaced Shaunna Hall, and Dawn Richardson replaced Wanda Day. They achieved chart success in 1993 with the hit single "What’s Up?", which remains their most iconic track. The band disbanded in 1994 after Linda Perry left to pursue a solo career. 4 Non Blondes contributed to the alternative rock scene with their distinctive sound and memorable lyrics.
