
The Crew Cuts were a Canadian male vocal quartet formed in 1952. The group performed pop and jazz music and was known for its relaxed style. The Crew Cuts became known for their covers of rhythm and blues and doo-wop hits, which set them apart from other vocal groups of the time, such as Four Aces and Four Lads . One of their most famous recordings was a cover of "Sh-Boom" which reached high positions on the charts. The group disbanded in 1964, leaving a notable mark on the history of popular music of the 1950s.
