KALI is an Icelandic singer and songwriter born on February 8, 1977. She began her musical career in 2001 with the release of the song " The Real Me " from her album of the same name. She later adopted the stage name KALI while performing with the band Steed Lord . In 2017, KALI represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv but failed to reach the final. Her work has contributed to the development of pop and hip-hop music, particularly in the Russian-speaking segment.
