Savage (real name Robyx ) is an Italian singer, composer, and lyricist, born November 28, 1956. He rose to prominence as one of the leading figures of the Italo disco genre in the 1980s. His most popular hits, such as "Don't Cry Tonight" and "Only You" have become classics of the genre and remain popular to this day. In addition to his solo career, Savage worked extensively as a producer under the pseudonym Robyx .
