Savage (real name Roberto Zanetti) is an Italian singer, composer, and lyricist, born November 28, 1956. He rose to prominence as a prominent figure in the Italo disco genre in the 1980s. Under the pseudonym Savage , he released hits such as "Don't Cry Tonight" and "Only You" which became iconic in the dance music scene of the time. In addition to his solo career, he also worked as a producer under the name Robyx , collaborating with various artists. His contributions to the development of Italo disco made him one of the genre's key figures.
