Phantom is a Nigerian producer, singer, and songwriter working in the genres of trance, rap, hip-hop, and electronica. He gained widespread recognition in 2020, becoming the third Afrobeats producer from Nigeria to be certified by the National Phonographic Syndicate. His production work on Burna Boy " Ye " earned him gold certification in France. In 2019, he was awarded the Soundcity MVP Awards for African Producer of the Year and nominated for The Headies Award. Phantom has significantly contributed to the development and popularization of the Afrobeats genre on the international stage.
