David Liebman , also known as Дэйв Либман , is an American jazz musician born in 1946. He specializes in modern and traditional jazz, playing the saxophone and flute. Liebman began his career in the 1970s, collaborating with legends such as Miles Davis and Elvin Jones . His albums, such as "Lookout Farm" and "Quest" , have received critical acclaim. In 2011, he was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters Award, one of the highest honors in jazz. Liebman has made significant contributions to the development of jazz improvisation and pedagogy.
